Southern Wind was looking to set up and launch social media, in order to share the latest news, yachts and events to its sailing community. Alongside this, the South African Shipyard also wanted to expand their online presence through digital marketing and website development. Relevance was tasked with developing a social media and digital marketing strategy, that the Relevance team would implement and manage.

Based on the average monthly growth rates of 6-8% on Instagram and 2-2.5% on Facebook, Relevance achieved for Southern Wind an above average monthly growth rate in followers – 177.32% on Instagram and 181.31% on Facebook.
Engagement also saw a greater level of performance than some of the industry competition, achieving an 8.43% monthly engagement rate on Instagram and a 4.90% engagement rate on Facebook, compared to the competition average of 3.29% on Instagram and 2.84% on Facebook.
