1 – Dubai International Boat Show 2022

The next event in the yacht calendar 2022 is the Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS 2022). Hosted in the sparkling Dubai Harbour, the Dubai Yacht Show has been a regular feature in the UAE every March for the past 28 years. By far the region’s largest luxury yacht and lifestyle event, the show welcomes industry professionals, UHNW clients and general visitors. 2 – Palm Beach International Boat Show 2022

The Palm Beach International Boat Show 2022 brings together some of the best American and international yachting names for four days of networking, entertainment and yacht viewings in Florida. Attracting yachting industry professionals and UHNW clients, the 2022 edition of the Palm Beach International Boat Show will mark the 40th anniversary of the event, making this 2022 yacht show one of the longest-standing superyacht and maritime lifestyle shows in the US.
The 2022 yacht show will reportedly feature more than $1.2 billion worth of yachts and superyacht lifestyle products, including hundreds of boats ranging from 8-foot RIBs to a vast selection of sport fishers and 60+ metre superyachts. The Palm Beach International Boat Show regularly attracts some of the world’s biggest names in the superyacht industry, from luxury yacht brokers to world-class superyacht shipyards.

3 – Mediterranean Yacht Show 2022
30 April – 4 May, Greece
After a two-year hiatus, the Mediterranean Yacht Show (MEDYS) is officially back in 2022. The B2B Greek 2022 yacht show returns to the global yachting calendar at the end of April, welcoming hundreds of international yacht brokers to the picturesque setting of Nafplion for five days. The last edition of MEDYS saw more than 100 luxury charter yachts on display, with 450 yacht brokers from more than 30 countries in attendance.
Amongst the largest yachts on display at the show’s last edition included the 41-metre M/Y ABILITY and the 49.9-metre M/Y ALEXANDRA.

4 – World Superyacht Awards 2022
20 – 21 May, UK
Hosted annually by Boat International, the World Superyacht Awards are a staple of the superyacht event calendar. The 17th edition of the prestigious yacht awards ceremony will take place in the heart of London in May and will celebrate the best of the best of the world’s latest superyacht additions.
The judging panel sees an exclusive list of superyacht owners. Amongst them are Bill & West Duker, Former owners of the 52-metre Feadship built M/Y RASSELAS and the 70-metre Perini Navi built S/Y SYBARIS; Paola Trifiró, owner of the 33-metre Vitters-built S/Y RIBELLE; and John Symond, owner of the 73-metre Feadship built M/Y HASNA.
The 2021 World Superyacht Awards winners saw a long list of impressive superyachts receiving well-deserved accolades. The 80-metre hybrid superyacht ARTEFACT took the prestigious Motor Yacht of the Year title, with the Nobiskrug built vessel also being named the winner in the Displacement Motor Yachts, 1,600GT to 2,999GT category. The Sailing Yacht of the Year was awarded to the 33.9-metre S/Y GEIST.

5 – Cannes Yachting Festival 2022
06 – 11 September 2022, France
Set in the heart of the French Riviera, the Cannes Yachting Festival is a six-day celebration of all things yachting. The 2022 yacht show welcomes yacht clients and industry professionals to the picturesque Port of Cannes over six days in September. The show regularly attracts more than 50,000 visitors eager to explore the latest yachts, tenders, and luxury lifestyle.
Though details of exhibitors and yachts on display at the 2022 Cannes Yachting Festival are yet to be released, the event attracts some of the world’s biggest yachting brands every year. Luxury yachts on display in Cannes range from 3 to 50-metres in length, with many prestigious yacht brands offering daily sea trials on board some of the yachting world’s most exciting new launches. 6 – Monaco Yacht Show 2022
28 September – 1 October 2022, Monaco
The Monaco Yacht Show is without a doubt the pinnacle of the luxury yacht calendar 2022. With the world’s largest exhibition of superyachts on display, it’s certainly not hard to see why. Hosted in the iconic Port Hercules in Monaco, the event regularly attracts thousands of industry professionals, world-class superyachts, and luxury lifestyle exhibitors.
The 2021 Monaco Yacht show featured a new format designed to attract more UHNWIs and showcase a greater emphasis on superyacht end-users. The yacht show moved away from an increasingly business-to-business focus. Instead, it pivoted to focus more on charterers, yacht owners, and those considering buying or chartering a yacht while ensuring a luxurious experience for attendees.
Superyachts on display in Monaco at the 2021 show included 37 new yacht launches and 14 superyachts measuring over 70-metres in length – by far the largest exhibition of large superyachts in the world. The 2021 MYS featured 440 exhibitors and 101 superyachts, totalling an estimated worth of €3.6 billion. The 95-metre Lürssen superyacht KISMET was the largest yacht in Monaco last year.

7 – Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2022
26 – 30 October 2022, USA
Kicking off the American boat show season is the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2022 (FLIBS), considered the largest in-water boat show in the world. The 2022 yacht show is scheduled to run from 26 to 30 October, offering an action-packed five-day yachting extravaganza.
FLIBS regularly attracts more than 100,000 visitors and 1,300 boats on display ranging from RIBS and tenders to world-class superyachts. The largest superyacht on display in Florida at the 2021 edition of the show was the 63.5-metre MOCA yacht, built by Italian shipyard Benetti in 2016 and undergoing a significant refit in 2021.
In addition to a wide range of luxury boats on display, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is also home to a wide variety of exhibitors. The 2021 yacht show saw more than 600 exhibitors, ranging from superyacht shipyards to global yacht brokerages.

8 – METSTRADE Show 2022
15 – 17 November 2022, Netherlands
The Marine Equipment Trade Show (METSTRADE 2022) is the largest international business-to-business exhibition for the marine leisure industry, bringing together some of the most prestigious yacht suppliers, shipyards and maritime professionals for three days in November. Hosted in the vibrant capital of Amsterdam and close to some of the yachting industry’s best superyacht suppliers and shipyards, the 2022 yacht show will be organised into three pavilions: Superyachts, Marinas and Yards, and Construction Materials.
Every year, show organisers host an engaging agenda to cultivate connection, recognition and innovation in the marine industry. Scheduled 2022 yacht show highlights include the Global Superyacht Forum hosted by the Superyacht Group, the annual Boat Builder Awards, the Young Professionals in Yachting Club, and the DAME Design Award.

9 – Antigua Charter Yacht Show 2022

Boasting perhaps one of the best destinations on the superyacht calendar 2022, the Antigua Charter Yacht Show has been a firm favourite of superyacht captains, international charter brokers, and luxury marine vendors since 1971. Though dates for the Antigua 2022 Yacht Show are yet to be confirmed, show organisers confirm that the Caribbean’s favourite yacht show will be back for six days in December 2022.
The latest edition of the Antigua Charter Yacht Show drew to a close on 9 December 2021 and saw more than 100 yachts for charter on display in the Caribbean. The 67.06-metre M/Y FIREBIRD yacht was the largest superyacht on display. Built by Feadship and delivered in 2007, M/Y FIREBIRD is one of the top superyachts on the luxury charter market, offering charter experiences from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean. The second-largest yacht on display was the 65.4-metre M/Y TRIUMPH, built by the Italian shipbuilder Benetti and delivered in 2021.
