The Best Yachts in the Fort Lauderdale International Yacht Show 2019

This year the Fort Lauderdale International Yacht Show will welcome some of the finest superyachts in the world and some of the very best models of yachts on the market. Over the course of 5 days, from the 30th of October to the 3rd of November, visitors will be able to tour the new layout of the show, including now a superyacht village at Pier 66. The Show includes now new locations, starting on Las Olas all the way down to Bahia Mar, with the superyacht village at Pier 66 and an extension at the Hilton Marina. The rise of the superyachts in FLIBS made the expansion of the show a must-do and is very visible in our list of the best yachts in the Fort Lauderdale International Yacht Show:

1 – Madsummer 95m Lurssen

The newest Harrison Eidsgaard design measures 95m and was launched out of the shed at Lurssen just earlier this year. She is one of the most stunning projects ever managed by Moran yachts, with an exceptional tinter glass bulwark wrapping around the pool for extra privacy. Her 18 guests can enjoy her vast exterior spaces and relax around a 12 meters long pool.

2 – Excellence 80m Abeking & Rasmussen

After turning heads in Monaco the glorious Excellence, built by both an experienced shipyard and owner,  will come to FLIBS and stun the American market. Her reversed bow reminds of the futuristic superyacht A, yet the impressive use of glass aboard truly makes her play in a different category. The Winch designed yacht will be located at the superyacht pavilion alongside Madsummer..

3 – Baba’s 56m Hargrave Yachts

The new flagship of Hargrave was built by HSY in Turkey. The well known American brand is now introducing it’s largest yacht ever built, delivered to a repeat American client. The 800GT yacht cruises at 12 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 16 while keeping its draft limited for a use of the yacht in the Bahamas.

4 – Vida 55m Heesen

One of the newest of the Heesen yachts, this design by Omega Architects is built on the experience of multiple sisterships including Laurentia and Azamanta. Reaching a top speed of 16 knots and keeping a draft under 3.2m she is a relatively Bahamas friendly yacht, with stunning interior design.

5 – Broadwater 50m Feadship

One of our favourite yachts coming from the Monaco Yacht Show will be attending the Fort Lauderdale Yacht Show. This fantastic superyacht is just out of a stunning refit. While her exterior lines remain relatively classic, her interior is quite the opposite with modern touches and refined lines. While her owner is refitting another yacht, she is currently for sale with Worth Avenue Yachts.
