Top MYS 2025 yachts
As in previous years, attendees can expect some incredible superyachts at the MYS 2025, including world premieres. Some highlights our team is looking forward to viewing include:
M/Y BREAKTHROUGH
At 118.8 metres, M/Y BREAKTHROUGH will be the largest superyacht at the show. It is also the world’s first fuel-cell superyacht, setting a new benchmark for sustainability in the yacht industry. Built by the legendary Dutch shipyard, Feadship, her many features include a semi-submerged Neptune lounge, an atrium, a library, and an 8.2-metre pool. There’s no doubt this mega yacht will turn heads at the 2025 MYS!
M/Y VALOR
Another Feadship vessel set to be a highlight of the yacht show is VALOR, a refined 79.5-metre explorer yacht. Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she boasts a 2-metre ice belt and Bureau Veritas Young Ice 2 class, ensuring she is ready to conquer remote routes like the Northwest Passage. Her eco-forward hybrid propulsion, combining diesel-electric, battery, solar, and HVO biofuel systems, enables silent, zero-emission cruising for up to 48 hours and a 5,000 nautical mile range.
M/Y RIVA 54 METRI
The sleek 54-metre Riva flagship will make her global debut at the MYS 2025 and is guaranteed to turn heads for all the right reasons. She boasts over 370-square metres of outdoor space, including a stunning stepped aft deck with a swimming pool, sun loungers, and alfresco dining across multiple levels. Styled by Officina Italiana Design, her signature counter-curved windows and light exterior and dark glazing contrast are classic hallmarks of the iconic luxury Italian boat builder.
M/Y PROJECT 596
This visionary 72.3-metre superyacht has been built by the Italian Sea Group in collaboration with legendary fashion designer Giorgio Armani and the Admiral Design Centre. As a nod to Armani’s unmistakable style, she boasts a harmonious blend of minimalist elegance and architectural sophistication, with bold styling and soft curves. Her many features include a helipad, a beach club, a spa, expansive outdoor living spaces, and full-height windows.
Perhaps in response to the growing trend for sustainability, this year’s MYS will have a much larger focus on sailing yachts than previous shows. Sailing yachts to keep your eye on this year include:
S/Y KATANA
Built by Perini Navi and delivered earlier this year, the 60-metre sailing yacht KATANA boasts a redesigned sailing system that offers improved performance and ease of handling. Her interiors, designed by French designer Remi Tessier and built by German firm Metrica, demonstrate refined elegance, with every space tailor-made to the most exacting standards.
S/Y MAXIMUS
The elegant 59-metre sailing ketch MAXIMUS, known as a “wolf in sheep’s clothing,” was delivered to her new owner in 2023 and is the third largest yacht built by the famed Dutch shipyard Vitters. Her stunning looks, distinctive profile, and technical mastery make her one of the most exciting sailing yachts at the 2025 MYS. A key highlight of this exquisite vessel is her full-beam owner’s suite, a rare feature on sailing yachts.
New to the Monaco Yacht Show 2025: Blue Wake
Beyond all the fabulous superyachts, tenders, and water toys on display, new this year will be Blue Wake, an eco-focused platform that has evolved from the Sustainability Hub.
Blue Wake is a partnership with the Water Revolution Foundation, designed to promote eco-friendly yachting innovations and solutions, raise industry standards, and recognise those developing science-based solutions.
The programme will feature curated technologies and cleaner energy sources, eco-responsible tenders, and other green initiatives. It culminates in the Blue Wake Awards, held on the yacht show’s Grand Opening Night on Tuesday, 23 September, to recognise the most innovative and impactful sustainable solutions in the superyacht sector.
